I am just back from Norway and had the most relaxing time. My daughter and I were looking at wedding dresses, she tried on lots of them and narrowed them down to three favorites. The dresses were amazing and she looked absolutely stunning in them. She has always liked dressing up in pretty dresses ever since she was little. This visit was really special, we had so much fun and she was so happy I was there.

We also did some lovely trips, Norway is a beautiful place and we went up to Hamar and drove around the lakes there and fjords. Another place we visited was Frederikstad and we saw 600 BC rock carvings, very impressive. Lorna x Smile

Hi Lorna

Sounds like you had a great time and the RA behaved. Yes, Norway is beuatiful ~I have never been but my neice married
a Norweigan Anders and he is lovely. They married in England but about 30 friends and relatives
of his came and they were great people.

When does your Daughter get married is it soon ?

Hi Lorna

Lovely to hear what a wonderful time you have had with your daughter in Norway.

Perhaps one day we may be able to see a pic of the bride in her dress !

Take care, Julia x

hi Lorna,

glad you enjoyed your trip to Norway and it must have been lovely to see your Daughter in such gorgeous dresses ... something i haven't see yet here !!

they are just looking to move so a wedding is way down the list, also my Hubby says he'd prefer her to wait till his retirement in a couple of years when he will be more " flush " with his pay off and pension .. lol

Hi Lorna,

So glad you had a good holiday, I'm hoping to go to Australia next year with my daughter, son in law and their three children, although I'm a bit worried about the long flight. We are planing a one or two night stop over, but even so I think I may be as stiff as cardboard when I arrive!Sad
